John DeLuca started Aspire! Youth, a 501 (c) (3), in 2018 at age 15, when he was a high school freshman. He was moved to act when he recalled friends who had limited opportunity to play sports in grade school and seeing the worn-out equipment some schools were using. He wanted to make a difference.
So far, he raised (through a small business venture and community donations) and contributed more than $18,000 for the benefit of youth sports teams and sports scholarships to ensure kids can Aspire to be the best they can be.
He engaged student athletes in the patriotic act of saying thank you to deployed troops and military veterans. He, local schools, and the more than 5,000 athletes he has supported have sent more than 12,400 thank you's to those who have kept our country safe and has raised more than $13,000 for Operation Gratitude from a corporate sponsor.
